General Terms and Conditions

  • The general terms and conditions are set for the High Heels Dance Camp 2026 event (from now on referred to as “the event”), which will take place in Apollolaan 4, 1077 BA Amsterdam, from May 175-17, 2025.
  • These Terms and Conditions define the rights and obligations of both the event participants and organizers.
  • To become a participant in the High Heels Dance Camp (hereinafter referred to as the “Participant”), one must purchase services offered by the organizers.
  • Dance workshops (hereinafter referred to as “Workshops”) refer to dance classes available to individuals who purchase ticket packages. These Workshop packages do not include accommodation, meals, or transportation to and from the venue. The Organizers guarantee the Participants’ access to dance workshops (number of workshops corresponding to the purchased package) and evening events as listed on www.highheelsdancecamp.com.
  • After placing an order, the Participant will receive an e-mail confirmation with all the essential elements of their order.
  • The agreement is considered valid from the moment the Participant receives the confirmation e-mail mentioned above. However, the Organizers are not responsible for any message delivery failure caused by spam filters or any other blocking software the Participant may have.
  • The agreement is for a fixed term and will be terminated once the Participant has received all the services as per the purchased package.
  • The sales agreement is conducted in English.

 

Participation Agreement for High Heels Dance Camp

The participation agreement in the High Heels Dance Camp is concluded when the following requirements are fulfilled:

  • The Participant has read and understood the offer along with the Terms and Conditions of participation, the Privacy Policy, the Terms and Conditions of the website, and the information provided below.
  • The Participant has selected their preferred currency and chosen the package by checking the appropriate box at www.highheelsdancecamp.com.
  • The Participant has completed and submitted the electronic application form containing their personal data.
  • The Participant has accepted the documents mentioned in point (a) above and has consented to the processing of personal data.

 

Payment Terms

  • The Organizers offer the option to purchase a ticket package exclusively in one currency: Euro (EUR). Detailed pricing information can be found in the offer at www.highheelsdancecamp.com. Prices encompass all components, including VAT and customs duties.
  • The Organizers bear no responsibility for any additional charges, currency fluctuations, or bank fees incurred during the transfer process. Only the actual final amount received in the recipient’s bank account will be recognized during the registration process.

 

Cancellation of Attendance by the Participant – Refund Policy

  • Should a Participant choose to withdraw from the event, the Organizers reserve the right to deduct fees that reflect the incurred costs up to the date the resignation is formally submitted. The standard deductions are as follows:
  • More than 14 days prior to the event’s start date: a deduction of 70% of the event price.
  • 14 days or less before the event’s start date: a deduction of 90% of the event price.
    After the event commences, no refunds will be issued.
  • All special ticket types for the event, including but not limited to early bird tickets, pre-early bird tickets, and any discounted or promotional tickets, are non-refundable.

 

Insurance

  • By purchasing a ticket, the Participant acknowledges that their health condition permits participation in the event. In the event of illness during the event, the Participant releases the healthcare providers treating them, both domestically and internationally, from their duty of medical confidentiality. The Participant also consents to the Insurer accessing their medical records as necessary.

 

Responsibility of the Parties. Complaints. Replacement Benefits

  • The Organizers are accountable for the Workshops, ensuring they meet the terms outlined in the offer, as well as the agreed-upon quality and standards of the services provided. Should there be any discrepancies between the actual situation and the offer, the Participant must promptly notify the Organizers’ representative to facilitate necessary corrections. Complaints cannot be filed if the issues are resolved without delay.
  • Given the artistic nature of the services provided, the Organizers reserve the right to alter the dates and times of the workshops and related events, as well as to change their sequence or substitute artists/teachers conducting classes or performances at any point before or during the event. Such changes do not constitute grounds for complaints or for terminating the Agreement between the Organizers and the Participants.
  • Any complaints regarding the services must be submitted in writing and sent via registered mail to the Organizers’ address within 30 days of the event’s conclusion. The Organizers will respond to properly lodged complaints in writing as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days from receipt.
  • If the provision of services that are essential to the program is not feasible, the Organizers will provide suitable replacement services at no additional cost to the Participant, as long as these services can be offered within the framework of the event. If the quality of the replacement services is inferior to those originally specified in the program, the Participant may request a reduction in the fixed package price. The Organizers are not liable for damages if they provide replacement services of equivalent standard and value, and the Participant declines these services without valid justification.
  • From the start of the event, Participants must adhere to the instructions provided by the Organizers’ representatives regarding the execution of the workshop program.
  • Participants shall be responsible for any material damage caused during their attendance, whether to the Organizers, their representatives, or third parties engaged by the Organizers.
  • The Organizers reserve the right to terminate the agreement immediately, without any financial repercussions for either party, if a Participant significantly or repeatedly disrupts the event schedule or threatens the normal use of services by other Participants.
  • The Organizers shall not be held responsible for theft or damage to luggage or other personal property, especially if such incidents result from the Participant’s negligence.

 

Workshop Regulations

  • All Participants are required to adhere to these Workshop Regulations.
  • By applying for participation in the Workshops, the Participant confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted both the Terms and Conditions and these Workshop Regulations.
  • Participants must follow the instructions of the Workshop Organizers, Instructors, and Venue personnel at all times.
  • A valid pass or wristband is mandatory for entry into each dance workshop.
  • Passes and wristbands are non-transferable and personal. Reselling or transferring them to others without the Organizers’ explicit permission is prohibited and will result in the cancellation of the pass or wristband.
  • Representatives of the Organizers have the right to request identification from the Participant to verify ownership of a pass or wristband.
  • The Organizers reserve the right to limit the number of Participants in the dance studio. In such cases, priority for entry will be given to FULL ACCESS package Participants. Those who cannot enter the dance room may use their pass for another workshop available in the offering.
  • The bringing and consumption of alcoholic beverages, smoking, and possession of illegal substances is strictly prohibited during the entire duration of the workshop.
  • The Organizer retains the right to remove a Participant from the workshop list without a refund of any fees paid if the Participant disrupts the workshop or fails to comply with the Terms and Conditions.
  • By applying for participation in the Workshop, the Participant grants the Organizers and their affiliated entities (including sponsors) the right to use photographs and video materials featuring the Participant for marketing purposes. This agreement covers the use, preservation, and reproduction of such materials through any medium for lawful purposes, including publication in print and online media, exhibition, competitions, television, and outdoor advertising. The Participant waives any rights to approve the use of photographs and videos featuring their image.
